With Ron Kravitz of Music In the Moment

PREFACE: No music experience necessary and no rhythm necessary to have HUGE benefits from this workshop! Loud & Shy people welcome.

Together we will use spontaneous voices and inspirational songs that arise in the moment to create a convergence of rhythmic and vocal vibrations.

Drumming together breaks down boundary's. The experience is FUN, UPLIFTING, LIBERATING & ENERGIZING.

Joyfully, we connect and engage our spirit with the Greater Spirit. We travel to the Caribbean, Africa, Latin-America, the Mid East and more, without leaving the house!

You do not have to be a "musician" or "drummer" to attend. No prior musical experience is necessary. Ages from 7 to 70+ have participated. All instruments welcome! A selection of hand drums and other percussion instruments will be available to play, or bring your own.

It is simply a gift to be in the presence of this master of connection, fun, and community. Ron’s childlike nature and sagelike wisdom create a powerful presence and space for healing, learning, and creating together.

About Ron

Ron Kravitz

Ron was first introduced to the joys of singing as a boy by his mother, who was a semi professional singer.  Later on along the path, he was introduced to West African drumming by the late and great Babatunde Olatunji.  In 1988, Ron took cellist David Darling's Music For Everyone Workshop at The Omega Institute.  That profound experience opened Ron up to a new world of musical freedom with endless possibility's of self expression.  From the seeds of that inspiration, Ron became a certified facilitator for Music For People, which is an international non-profit organization that promotes self-expression through music improvisation.

Ron has created a community center of sorts in his residential suburban home in Wyndmoor, PA.  where he facilitates weekly gatherings, hosts African Drum Classes with long time friend and colleague, Quint Lange.   At least 5 times a year his 20 year old house concert series Underground at Ron's, will be presented.
