Last night I attended a magical solstice ceremony beautifully and skillfully facilitated by Lance and Amy. They were such loving and gracious hosts, and created such a deep, expansive and safe collective space for us to drop in and experience the depth of wisdom the winter solstice time has to offer each one of us. The experience of meditating on releasing assumptions to enter into the new cycle with fresh eyes was powerful medicine, and the despacho offering was so beautiful! Seeing it burn in the fire, rimmed by tall trees over which the bright moon peered down, and under sparkling stars all around was the deepest magic of all. A very relaxing massage, yet also actually worked on parts of my body that needed it with enough pressure to "feel" the difference.
