The American College of Physician's new take on treating back pain

When I first started practicing acupuncture in Pennsylvania in 2003, each patient had to get a referral from their physician to even receive acupuncture and many docs did not give permission.

Well, times have changed, especially with the opioid addiction crisis and over prescribed pharmaceuticals. A few days ago the American College of Physicians recommended in the Annals of Internal Medicine that physicians and patients should treat acute or subacute low back pain with non-drug therapies such acupuncture.

This is a step in the right direction!

If you are experience pain of any kind, physical, emotional, mental or spiritual we are all here in service.
