The simple gift of putting earrings in without pain - a healing Journey Story with Debbie

I initially came in because it was going to take 6 weeks to get a doctor appointment to then get a referral to a specialist. (who knows how long the wait would have taken for that appointment).

I was in such pain no matter what I tried. Aleve and Advil (taken in conjunction) were not working at all anymore. Not to mention, probably ruining my liver. I could not sleep because of the throbbing pain.

That week, Village Wellness entered my life because of a phone call my husband made to your little oasis. 

I came in the next day or two, anxious. That was my lucky day!

I did experience slight pain relief but what surprised me was the overall feeling of calm/peace. It was immense. 

Since that first visit in February so much has happened in my life. One of my son's went thru a bad divorce, my daughter had a complicated pregnancy but delivered a healthy baby girl, I am dealing with a sick parent, another son switched jobs (he lives with us) and another son severely injured his back and has not been able to work for 5 or 6 weeks. This past weekend, my son in law's mother passed away from breast cancer. The last few months have been an extremely stressful, to say the least. 

I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through all this without your wonderful ladies taking care of me. I am actually even able to sleep despite all this going on.

Gabrielle is such a kind and gentle soul. Just being in her presence calms me. Her healing touch is amazing.

Carey shares her wealth of knowledge with me. She has shown me stretches, etc for my hands, to do at home, which have made all the difference in the world. She takes so much time with me, even sometimes massaging my arms before I leave. I feel so cared for by both of them.

I just wanted to thank you for your commitment to our wellness and our community. There are not sufficient words to thank you enough.

Oh and I forgot the most important part! My hands/wrists are 95% better!

I am resuming normal activities that I have not been able to do: throwing a ball for my dog, sewing, changing sheets on the bed(could not pull the fitted sheet). I don't drop my hair brush or tooth brush anymore! I can floss my teeth without hand pain. I can put earrings in! Thank you. You are all my 😇😇😇"
