Come Learn all about what to feed the unseen world and make a Despacho!
There is so much depth and wisdom in the simple things that will catalyze your relationship with the All… come learn more!
Despacho is the Spanish word for a ritual offering made with reverent intention in sacred reciprocity (ayni) for that which has been given to us. This tradition has been passed from don Oscar Miro-Quesada, originator of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition (PMT), to Amy Isakov, Sanctioned Teacher of the PMT.
Similar to the Buddhist sand paintings, these offerings are arranged in a mandala like fashion and then bundled up and offered to the unseen realms.
In order to participate you will need to have:
A postage stamp size piece of jerky or other dried animal product
A small flower or herb or piece of plant, fresh or dried
A tiny crystal or crushed mineral product
A tiny flammable human-made object, ideally something you made
A piece of incense or an incense stick
Consecration ingredients (cornmeal, tobacco, bay leaves, Florida waters)
A white piece of paper, no smaller than Letter sized
A red string (any color is ok if you can’t find red)
If you have access, please also bring fresh flowers or respectfully gather some fresh offerings such as moss or leaves from the nature around you.
