Activating Calm is a 4 week supportive experience designed for those of us fed up with feeling overwhelmed and/or exhausted.
As a collective, we will work together, through weekly coaching sessions and practices, to release our exhausted, anxious or overwhelmed state and anchor more deeply into our authentic power, a calm and focused state.

Part 1: May 20th-22nd, 2022
A Call to Heal: Releasing the Past
Participants will be initiated into the Pachakuti Mesa, a powerful and sacred altar. Each student will learn how to create their own mesa and work with it for self-empowerment, transformation, and helping others. Through shamanic journey and visionary states of consciousness, participants will explore the three worlds of the Andean cosmovision, sacred reciprocity with all that is, the core ingredients of ceremonial mastery, sacred sound and ritual language, healing and curanderismo, and the inner world of the ukhupacha.
Part 2: August 5th-7th, 2022
A Balance of Power: Transforming the Present
An apprenticeship in the center direction of the mesa, traditional Peruvian perspectives on the flow of energy through the realms, focusing on the kaypacha, the middle world. Students will explore the kaypacha’s elemental matrix and magico-spiritual power, and learn about the sun and moon’s presence in the middle world, mapping the cosmos on Earth, and celestial death and rebirth.
Part 3: October 28th-30th, 2022
The Condor’s Quest: Creating the Future
This initiation is a deep dive into the paqokuna, don Benito’s contribution to the PMT. The Andean Shaman/Priesthood mystical path, the lineage of the sacred mountains, and the five virtues of the mesa come alive in this intensive, including how to make a desapacho (earth offering). Participants will also journey to and experience the hanaqpacha, the upper world beyond the physical realm, work with the unseen world there and deepen their connection to their own spiritual resources.
Part 4: February 3rd-5th, 2022
The Hummingbird’s Ascent: Living the Mystery
Participants will be initiated into the healing arts of this tradition and learn about the lightning bolt of mystical illumination - the flow of kamasqa - the power of Creation. They will work with the elements, the forces of the universe, the body of Mother Earth, and sacred healing objects. In sacred reciprocity participants will create despachos to honor the sacred mountains, the elements, the unseen world, and prepare for a paqowachu, a sacred pilgrimage.
Part 5: May 19th-21st, 2023
The Shamanic Self: Serving the Earth
An experiential intensive into soul and spirit through ritual process, including the spiritual creation, activation and care of an apacheta (stone altar). Students will work with the power of dimensionality and time, the hampikamayoq breathing techniques, and be exposed to ancient hermetic wisdom. Participants will be further empowered by evoking both seen and unseen sources of cosmic awareness within their mesa, sacred objects and own being, and initiation into the lineage of this revered tradition.

$1675 paid in full ($335/weekend) or $430 paid per weekend (5 weekends)
Cancellation Policy
We know that schedules can change and cancellations are sometimes necessary. Tuition will be refunded less cancellation fees according to the following schedule:
$50 processing fee until 8 weeks before class,.
$200 cancellation fee from 4-8 weeks prior to the first day of class.
No refunds for cancellations less than 4 weeks prior or no-show. (In cases of family emergency or illness we will put your tuition towards a future apprenticeship.)
All cancellations must be in writing, by email that has been acknowledged and responded to by us. Cancellation dates are the date of an email response by us. Refunds will be processed within 2 weeks of request.
Covid19 Policy
Our medicine lodge will have plenty of fresh air circulating. It is heated with a wood stove. All participants are spaced at least 6” apart. Masks are optional. Anyone who feels unwell or has any cold symptoms is asked to stay home. We also ask everyone to take care to remain extra mindful of their contacts in the week before we meet so we can continue to enjoy a safe and peaceful mask-optional gathering. Depending on the situation in March and through 2022, we may ask that everyone test 72 hours before arriving.

Lance has been drawn to shamanism since he was 5 years old and has practiced holistic and traditional medicines since 1996.
With diverse training in multiple healing arts, Lance currently practices as a licensed Five Element Acupuncturist, Shamanic energy medicine practitioner, and Yoga & Meditation teacher at his center Village Wellness, outside of Philadelphia. Lance is passionate about fostering the healing relationship between practitioner and patient and building a community focused with Loving awareness at its core.

Amy Mermaid Isakov is an innovative dreamer, passionate about connection, spirituality, music, ritual arts, and how the Divine can manifest in all its forms. Having left the traditional education path, she has studied in-depth with shamans, bodyworkers, evolutionary thought leaders and green builders since 2001. While working at The Shift Network, she hosted and managed all of don Oscar’s courses, while having the privilege to host and learn from many of the world’s leading mystics, dreamers and visionaries. She is a Pachakuti Mesa Sanctioned Teacher, writer, singer and mother — among other things — and looks forward to helping as many people as possible return to the truth of interconnection in this time of dire beauty. What You’ll Learn
Activating Potential is a 4 week supportive experience designed for those of us who are ready take our inner development to the next level.
We now have tools for activating our Parasympathetic nervous system to induce a calm state when needed. Once in this calm state, steeped in this energy of being, we can continue to develop our innate potential energy and direct it for manifestation .
As a collective, we will work together through weekly coaching sessions and practices to develop our energy of becoming. Within this Parasympathetic state of rest and digest, we will learn tools to create potency to empower our future manifestation. Like a bulb, wintering in the earth, building its own potential energy, so that when the time is right, its powerful energy of possibility can manifest into its beautiful flower.

A VIRTUAL Weekend Seminar Online
Deconstructing Anxiety is a groundbreaking seminar for rapidly uncovering the root causes of anxiety in even your most difficult clients. You will learn never-before-presented techniques for releasing the resistances that keep anxiety alive, getting at their source and transforming them into a sense of high purpose and meaning, yielding powerful change and lasting results.
With the revolutionary understanding that anxiety (fear) is at the root of all suffering, you will gain insight into the five core fears--“universal themes of loss”--we all share, including:
abandonment (loss of love),
loss of identity,
loss of meaning,
loss of purpose (the chance to express oneself) and
fear of death (including fear of sickness and pain).
We develop our primary defenses, usually early in childhood or at times of trauma, as our best attempt to protect ourselves from these fears, but always at too great a cost. This leaves us constantly holding vigil, on the lookout for the resurfacing of the fear. We build our entire personality upon this fear-defense dynamic. When it spins out of control, an anxiety disorder develops.
The theory and techniques offered in this workshop, such as “The Alchemist”, “The Witness” and “The Warrior’s Stance”, will teach you how to uncover the core fear and chief defense quickly and reliably.
These will be understood as the architects of personality and the creators of our perceptual world. Armed with this knowledge, new strategies for “doing the opposite” of the chief defense and its secondary defenses have proven extremely successful in even the most anxious clients.
Incorporating psychodynamics, mindfulness, Gestalt, CBT and transpersonal psychology, participants will undergo the actual techniques being presented, making for a rich and highly experiential presentation.
At the deepest level, we will pinpoint the precise moment where resistance is created and how to release it. This leads to the ultimate goal of letting go “the resistance to resistance”, a key to transforming our entire view of Self and redefining the limits of the human experience.
The way is then paved for the final section on “Vision Questing”, wherein the five core fears are fully resolved, and one may live their lives with a solid sense of identity, meaning, purpose, love and even a true freedom from the fear of death.
Come prepared for an exciting adventure into the deepest regions of the unconscious, where the hidden fears at the source of our difficulties live, to bring them out into consciousness, available for rapid and lasting transformation.

George currently continues his work with the TLC as a State-wide Resource Coordinator through Rutgers UBHC, supporting the work of County Coalitions throughout NJ. He is well known as a presenter at numerous state-wide conferences and professional development programs.
With a strong belief in the ability of children and families to heal from emotional hurt, George has focused his work on helping parents, professional educators and other adults understand their work in that healing.

Lance is the owner and an Acupunturist at Village Wellness in Berwyn, PA. Lance has studied numerous healing techniques over the years including: Five Element & Esoteric Acupuncture, Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, Life Coaching, Plant Medicine, Acupuncture Detox Specialist (NADA), Magnified Healing Master, TaeUlju, Qi Gong (Mantak Chia), Guided Visualization and many others.
In his current practice, he works with individuals one on one both with words and with acupuncture needles. His acupuncture training had a heavy emphasis on the understanding of psychology and using "words as needles.” His patients describe his work as part talk therapy, part acupuncture, and very healing for the body, mind and soul.
Lance continues to be a source of treatment and inspiration to his practitioners, his clients and his community as he helps them maintain their balance and right relationship with the world around them.

Lynda is an Advanced Practice Integrative Nurse Practitioner and brings 18 years of clinical experience to Philadelphia Integrative Medicine. She completed her Integrative Medicine fellowship at Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona--formerly Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999.
Lynda is exceptional at partnering with patients where they are. She is trained in all aspects of Integrative Medicine including hormone balance, autoimmune including IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome including Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), thyroid, adrenal, mood, bone health and sleep disorders, and is an expert in assisting patients to achieve weight loss. She also brings expertise in gastrointestinal concerns including IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), bowel regularity, food sensitivities and how to expand dietary choices in a way that works for patients and their bodies.

In this practice we will work with the Liver and Gallbladder meridians, focusing spinal flexion and extension, twists and hip opening. The Liver governs the body’s immunity, and as stress weakens our immune system, this practice work to remove deep stagnation and allow for a better flow of liver Qi. We will close the practice with a Quiet Mind meditation allowing you to find calm in times of stress.
